Minix brings their newest Quad Core Androidbox: The MiniX Neo X7!
Minix Neo X7
Minix, the creators of the wildly popular Neo X5, are very busy with the production of the new Minix Neo X7. Our expectations for this Android TV Box, partly due to the success of the Neo X5, are very high.
Many manufacturers are popping all sorts of Quad Core Sticks from their factories, based on the Rockchip RK3188 SoC. Now it is time for Minix to step things up a notch.
- RK3188 SoC
- Quad Core ARM Cortex A9 CPU
- Quad-core Mali-400 GPU
- 2GB DDR3 RAM
- 16GB Nand Flash
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- External Antenna
If we look at the specifications, it is quite similar to most Quad Core Android Sticks / Boxes, but as we all know, Minix doesn't bring any junk to the market. The Neo X7 has all the advantages of an Android TV Box with it, such as an Ethernet port and three USB 2.0 ports. It also comes with a external WiFi Antenna with build in chip for maximum wireless performance.
The Neo X7 has been announced for quite a while now, but we hopefully don't have to wait much longer! Yesterday (5th of August) MiniX has officially released the MiniX Neo X7! The Pre-Sale has already started and we are expecting to deliver the Neo X7 within 1 or 2 weeks from now!
