We supply most Android Sticks / Boxes with the latest firmware. Did you buy an Android Stick / Box before the new firmware release was out? Or do you stick your / Box someone bought NOT the correct firmware for you have put it?

We can afterwards the latest firmware on your Android Stick / Box work for you for a small fee. Are you a handy with a PC? Then we will help you on your way so you have the opportunity to try this yourself.

Caution! If you are in doubt whether you can do this, then it is wise to start here itself. Update your firmware is at your own risk. Unfortunately we can not guarantee if it fails.

Virtually all of our devices run on two different SoCs, namely that of Rockchip and Amlogic. Both are flashed in a different way.

Note: To flash you need a Windows PC (preferably Windows 7 or 8, not 8.1)

Rockchip devices

To put the firmware via PC on your device is the Rockchip Batch Tool needed. To use this tool, you first need the necessary drivers. When you install any drivers, your PC will not recognize the device. Below are the download links for the drivers and the tool.

Here is a handy video to flash firmware on the Neo X7. In principle, this also applies to all other sticks and boxes. However, most drives do not require power from the power supply.

The manual installation of drivers is as follows:

USB Drivers

  1. Download the file with the drivers.
  2. Put the file in a recognizable folder and unpack it, so you can easily find. It back later
  3. If you follow the steps to flash your android stick / androidbox follows, give your PC that a device is trying to connect.
  4. Go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Devices and Printers.
  5. Between the devices, refer to "Unknown" unknown device or Rockusb Device mode, click it.
  6. In the menu you can 'install drivers'
  7. Now find the appropriate driver in the folder where you have installed the drivers.
  8. When you have selected the correct driver the Rockchip Batch tool will the next time you open it to recognize the device, and you can follow the steps appropriate for your device.

Rockchip Batch Tool.

This tool is used to install (flash) on your Android Stick / Box containing a Rockchip SoC as the RK3188 RK3066 SoC and SoC firmware.

2. Open it and locate the firmware in the folder where you stored it.

3. Connect your device, in this case the Minix Neo X7 connected, when successful, a green light button, now click on the Restore button

  2. Connect the CX-919 to your PC using a USB to Micro USB cable. The Micro USB OTG port is in the drive.
  3. Release the button only when the number 1 to Connected Devices green.
  4. After the number one green has become, you can have the reset button.

Connecten of MK908 (II):

  1. The MK908 (II) has a reset (recovery) button, hold it (with a paperclip) button before closing the drive to your PC. Hold down the button.
  2. Connect the MK908 (II) to your PC using a USB to Micro USB cable. The Micro USB OTG port is in the drive
  3. Release the button only when the number 1 to Connected Devices green.
  4. After the number one green has become, you can have the reset button.

The reset button on the MK908 is at the back. There are two small holes to see which one is the LED hole. If you turn the key to see which hole the LED is and what the reset. Use a paper clip to press the reset button.


Minix Neo X5

  1. Provide your Neo X5 power.
  2. Connect the Neo x5 to your PC using a USB to Micro USB cable. The Micro USB OTG port is in the box.
  3. Press the reset (recovery) button with a paper clip, along with the on / off button. Hold for at least 3 seconds. If you've done this correctly, the number one green.
  4. After the number one green has become, you can have the reset button.

On the side of the Neo X5 is 'recovery'. This is the reset button. Use a paper clip to press the button.


Minix Neo X7

Firmware:

Connecten Neo X7:

  1. Provide your Neo X7 power.
  2. Connect the Neo x7 to your PC using a USB to Micro USB cable. The Micro USB OTG port is in the box.
  3. Press the reset (recovery) button with a paper clip, along with the on / off button. Hold for at least 3 seconds. If you've done this correctly, the number one green.
  4. After the number one green has become, you can have the reset button.

Amlogic devices

To put the firmware via PC on your device using the USB Burning Tool. To use this tool, you first need the necessary drivers. When you install any drivers, your PC will not recognize the device. To install the drivers using Moborobo.

The installation of drivers is as follows:

1. Visit www.moborobo.com.

2. Moborobo Install and open it.

3. Connect your device to the right way, as described in the product.

4. On the Home screen Moborobo USB Connection, is click Refresh.

5. Your device is recognized, now install the drivers as described.

USB Burning Tool

This tool is used to install (flash) on your android stick / androidbox containing an Amlogic processor, such as the Amlogic SoC S802 and S802-H Amlogic SoC firmware. Make sure that you have installed the correct drivers otherwise recognize your PC the device.

Amlogic tools

1. Unpack the Zip file from.

2. Pak USB_Burning_Tool_v2.0.0.140306_Alpha_x86 out.

3. Open the application (. Exe)

4. Follow the setup wizard and install the USB Burning Tool

5. Open the USB Burning Tool

6. Choose your language (English) (see illustration)

7. Choose the desired firmware (Import image) (see illustration)

8. Connect your device to the right way, as described in the product.

9. Press "Start" (see picture), your device will now flash.

Connecten of Tronsmart Vega:

  1. Connect Tronsmart Vega to your PC using a USB to Micro USB cable. The Micro USB OTG port is in the box.
  2. Press the reset (recovery) button with a paper clip, it is hidden in the AV port.
  3. Provide the Vega power using the supplied power while pressing the reset button.
  4. Turn on the Vega on using the on / off button, while still holding down the reset button.
  5. If this is successful, the Vega will be recognized by the Burning tool.
